Peace Shield
More actions
A Peace Shield (sometimes called a Bubble or Protection Shield) is a consumable item in Whiteout Survival that makes your city completely immune to enemy attacks for a set duration.
Overview
When a Peace Shield is active, no enemy player can attack, scout, or steal resources from your city. It is the most reliable defensive tool in the game and is essential for protecting your city during vulnerable periods — such as when you're offline, recovering from a big battle, or holding large resource stockpiles.
Duration Types
Peace Shields come in different durations:
| Shield Duration | Common Use Case |
|---|---|
| 8 Hours | Short-term protection while sleeping or briefly offline |
| 24 Hours | Full day protection for extended offline periods |
| 3 Days | Extended protection during non-combat phases |
| 7 Days | Long-term protection for very casual or new players |
How to Activate
- Open your city interface.
- Navigate to the Items section or find the Shield option in the city protection menu.
- Select the desired Peace Shield duration.
- The shield activates immediately and its timer begins counting down.
Shield Limitations
Peace Shields have important restrictions:
- **Cannot attack while shielded:** If you send an attacking march while a shield is active, the shield is automatically cancelled.
- **Teleporting cancels shields:** In some circumstances, teleporting with active troops or after an attack can break your shield.
- **SvS rules:** During State vs State events, shields may be restricted in certain zones or for certain phases.
- **Does not protect alliance territory:** The shield only protects your personal city — not alliance forts or territory.
Shield Breaking
Your Peace Shield can be broken (cancelled) by:
- Sending an aggressive march (attack march) against another player
- Attacking alliance fortresses or territory
- Certain in-game actions depending on the event rules
Once broken, the shield is consumed and cannot be refunded. Plan your attacks carefully to avoid accidentally losing shield time.
Obtaining Peace Shields
Peace Shields can be obtained from:
- Daily login rewards
- Quest and mission completion
- Alliance events and gifts
- Event reward shops (Bear Hunt, SvS, etc.)
- In-game store purchases
Tips
- Always shield when offline: If you expect to be away for several hours, activate a shield before logging off — especially if you have valuable resources.
- Don't break shields accidentally: Plan your attacks carefully and be aware that aggressive actions cancel your shield.
- Stack shields efficiently: You can activate a longer shield just before a shorter one expires to maintain continuous protection.
- Use before big resource loads: If you've just completed a major gathering session, shield up before enemies notice your stockpile.
- Coordinate with your alliance: In events like State vs State, your alliance may have specific protocols for when to shield and when to fight.
