Meat is one of the four primary Resources in Whiteout Survival. It is the main food resource, consumed by your population and troops, and required for building upgrades, research, and troop training.

Overview

Meat is typically the most abundantly produced resource in the early game and remains important throughout all stages. It is required for virtually every activity — from basic construction to training the highest-tier troops.

Production

Meat is produced by:

  • Hunting Camps / Farms — City buildings that produce Meat passively over time
  • Production rate increases with building level, Economy Research bonuses, and development hero skills

Gathering

Meat can also be gathered from resource tiles (hunting grounds, farms) on the world map:

  • Send troops to Meat gathering tiles on the map
  • Troops gather Meat and return when complete or when the tile is depleted
  • Gathering speed and capacity are improved through Economy Research and hero skills

Uses

Troop Training

Meat is the primary resource for training all troop types:

  • T1–T5 troops use Meat as the dominant training resource
  • Higher-tier troops (T6+) still require significant Meat alongside Coal and Iron

Building Upgrades

Meat is required for all building construction and upgrades throughout the game.

Research

All three research trees (Battle, Growth, Economy) consume Meat as part of their resource costs.

Protection

Meat stored in your city can be plundered by enemy attackers. The Storehouse protects a fixed amount of Meat. Resources above this limit are vulnerable to raids.

Tips

  • Meat production is critical for maintaining continuous troop training — always keep it generating
  • Upgrade Meat production buildings alongside other resource buildings
  • Gather Meat from map tiles to supplement city production during heavy training periods
  • If Meat becomes a bottleneck, invest in Economy Research for production bonuses
  • Protect excess Meat with the Storehouse before going offline in war situations
