Pets

Pets are companion creatures in Whiteout Survival that provide passive bonuses to your city, troops, and Chief. They are part of the Gears system and can be acquired, leveled up, and evolved to become increasingly powerful.

Overview

Pets serve as additional stat boosters alongside Hero Gear and Heroes. Each pet has a unique appearance and a set of passive skills that activate based on the pet's level and evolution stage. Unlike heroes, pets cannot be sent on marches — their bonuses are always active.

Acquiring Pets

Pets are obtained through:

Pet Chests — Opened with keys or directly purchased
Events — Certain events reward pet shards or full pets
Alliance Shop — Some pets available for Alliance Credits
Special Activities — Bear Hunt and other activities can drop pet materials

Combat Pets

Pet Leveling

Pets are leveled up using Pet EXP and specific materials:

Higher pet levels unlock stronger versions of their skills
Pet skills activate at specific level thresholds
Maximum pet level increases as you evolve the pet

Pet Evolution

Pets can be evolved to higher star tiers using evolution materials:

Evolution dramatically increases a pet's maximum level and skill strength
Higher evolution tiers require rarer materials
Fully evolved pets provide game-changing bonuses

Notable Pets

Whiteout Survival features a variety of themed pets, including:

Wolf companions — Often combat-focused
Arctic foxes — Often development or economy focused

Tips

Focus on leveling one or two pets rather than spreading materials across many pets
Match your pet to your playstyle — combat pets for aggressive players, development pets for builders
Participate in Bear Hunt and events regularly for pet materials
Higher-rarity pets (Legendary, Mythic) are dramatically stronger than common ones — prioritize upgrading them
