Events

From WOS Forge Wiki

Events are time-limited activities in Whiteout Survival that provide valuable rewards including resources, speed-ups, hero shards, and exclusive items. Participating actively in events is essential for rapid progression.

Alliance Events

Bear Hunt

Bear Hunt is a cooperative alliance event where members coordinate attacks against powerful boss creatures on the world map.

How to Participate:

  1. The alliance leader or an officer initiates a Bear Hunt against a Bear Boss on the map
  2. Alliance members send troops to attack the bear within the time window
  3. Each attack deals damage; the bear's HP depletes as members attack
  4. When the bear is defeated, all participating members receive rewards

Bear Difficulty Levels: Bears come in multiple difficulty tiers. Higher difficulty bears yield better rewards but require more organized coordination and stronger troops.

Rewards:

  • Speed-up items
  • Resources (Meat, Wood, Coal, Iron)
  • Hero shards
  • Rare materials and equipment

State vs. State (SvS)

State vs. State is the most competitive and rewarding large-scale event in Whiteout Survival. Two entire states compete against each other over a set period.

Format:

  • Scheduled between two randomly matched states
  • Lasts several days
  • Takes place on a special SvS map with unique objectives

How Points Are Earned:

  • Killing enemy troops (kill points)
  • Completing construction, research, and training during the event
  • Capturing key objective buildings on the SvS map
  • Alliance Fortress control

Preparation Tips:

  • Save speed-up items for the SvS event period
  • Train as many troops as possible before SvS begins
  • Coordinate with your alliance on targets and strategy
  • Protect your troops when offline — shield up if needed

Rewards:

  • Exclusive titles and frames for top performers
  • Large quantities of speed-ups and resources
  • Hero shards and rare items
  • Alliance rewards for winning state members

Alliance War

Alliances can declare war on neighboring alliances for territory control and prestige. War involves coordinated attacks on enemy territory and cities.

Personal Events

Construction Events

Earn event points by upgrading buildings during the event period. Milestones unlock speed-ups, resources, and other rewards.

Research Events

Earn points by completing research technologies. Prioritize high-power research during these events for maximum points.

Training Events

Earn points by training troops. High-tier troops yield more points per troop trained.

Gathering Events

Earn points by gathering resources from the world map. Send as many gathering marches as possible during these events.

Kill Events

Earn points by defeating enemy troops in combat. High-tier kills yield significantly more points.

Seasonal Events

Whiteout Survival regularly features seasonal events tied to real-world holidays and in-game story arcs:

  • New Year Events — Special challenges and limited-time heroes
  • Anniversary Events — Celebratory events with exclusive rewards
  • Snowstorm Season Events — Seasonal narrative events with unique gameplay mechanics
  • Hero Unlock Events — Time-limited events to acquire or upgrade specific seasonal heroes (S1–S16)

Special Events

State Boss Events

Powerful boss creatures occasionally appear on the state map. All players in the state can contribute to defeating them for shared rewards.

Exploration Events

Players explore special maps or complete story chapters to earn rewards and advance the game's narrative.

Gift Code Events

Official gift codes are periodically released through social media and live streams. These codes can be redeemed for free resources, speed-ups, and items.

Event Tips

  • Check the Event Calendar — Plan your resource usage around upcoming events to maximize points and rewards.
  • Save Speed-Ups — Don't use speed-ups carelessly; save them for high-value construction or research during relevant events.
  • Coordinate with Alliance — Many events reward alliance participation; communicate in alliance chat.
  • Join Bear Hunts — Even small contributions to Bear Hunt earn rewards.
  • Prepare for SvS — SvS is the biggest event; train troops and save resources in the days leading up to it.
