Vision of Dawn is a recurring solo event in Whiteout Survival that runs over three days, in which players complete daily missions to earn Hope and unlock five sequential reward chests.
How it works
Players complete daily missions to earn Hope points, and the target resets each day. Accumulated Hope unlocks the five reward chests in sequence. The required tasks scale with the state's progress: newer states use basic activities — spending stamina, gathering from farms and training troops — while states in the Fire Crystal Age face more advanced requirements, such as using Advanced and Epic recruitment keys.
Rewards
The chests contain Gems, stamina, Speedups, Hero EXP, hero XP components, Fire Crystals and event cosmetics, with the later chests giving better rewards.
Missions
Which missions appear depends on how far the state has come.
- New states — the easy missions ask for stamina spent, a small gathering on farms and a little power gained from troop training; the difficult ones ask for a large gathering and a high power total. The storehouse hands out 240 extra stamina a day, and Gina lowers what each march costs.
- Fire Crystal Age states — the easy missions keep to stamina and gathering, while the difficult ones call for 10 Advanced Recruitments and 30 Epic Recruitments every day: 30 advanced keys and 90 epic keys over the three days. These recruitment missions appear from Gen 3 onwards, at roughly 120 days of state age.
Hope thresholds
80 Hope opens the fourth chest, and that is as far as free play reaches. Every easy and difficult mission completed earns 34 Hope a day, so 102 over the event — enough to skip a few and still get there. The fifth chest sits behind a mission that requires one real-money purchase, of any amount and with no limit on how many; a single purchase brings the total to 122 Hope, and completing every paid mission as well brings it to 162.

The same five chests hold different rewards depending on the state's age.

Tips
- Complete ALL tasks daily — the rewards are solid for what you spend.
- Manage stamina carefully: Vision of Dawn competes with other stamina-based events. Track how many beasts and polar terrors you kill, and try to use as few stamina cans as possible — they are more valuable elsewhere.
- To unlock all rewards, you need to buy at least 1 real-money pack. A $1 Sign-in & Earn pack (in Deals) is sufficient.
- From Gen 3 onwards the missions switch to recruitment keys, so keep advanced and epic keys aside before the event opens.
