Bear Hunt
More actions
Bear Hunt is a recurring PvE (Player vs Environment) event in Whiteout Survival where players work individually or cooperatively to defeat powerful polar bears that roam the world map.
Overview
During the Bear Hunt event, large bears spawn across the world map at various strength levels. Players send marches to attack these bears, dealing damage and earning rewards based on their contribution. Bears have a shared health pool and can be attacked by multiple players simultaneously, encouraging cooperation.
Bear Levels
Bears come in multiple tiers of difficulty:
| Level | Recommended Power | Rewards Quality |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Low | Basic |
| Level 2 | Moderate | Common |
| Level 3 | High | Uncommon |
| Level 4 | Very High | Rare |
| Level 5 | Elite | Epic |
Higher-level bears require more marches to defeat but yield significantly better rewards.
How to Participate
- Look for bear icons on the world map during the event period.
- Tap a bear to view its current health and level.
- Send a march to attack the bear.
- Once the bear's health reaches zero, it is defeated and rewards are distributed.
- Players who dealt the killing blow or contributed the most damage receive bonus rewards.
Damage and Contribution
Your reward amount depends on the total damage you deal to the bear. Even if another player gets the killing blow, all contributors receive rewards proportional to their damage contribution. Sending stronger troops and larger marches will deal more damage.
Energy System
Bear Hunt uses an energy system to limit how many attacks each player can make:
- Each attack on a bear costs energy.
- Energy regenerates over time.
- Energy can be refilled using special items obtained from events or the store.
- Higher-level bears cost more energy per attack.
Rewards
Defeating bears rewards players with:
- **Bear Hunt Points** — Redeemable in the Bear Hunt shop
- **Speedups** — Construction and training time reducers
- **Resources** — Meat, Wood, Coal, and Iron
- **Hero Shards** — Fragments for unlocking or upgrading heroes
- **Gems** — Premium currency
The Bear Hunt shop offers exclusive items including hero recruitment vouchers, gear materials, and high-value speedups.
Alliance Bears
In addition to regular bears, special Alliance Bears can only be attacked by members of the same alliance. These bears are stronger than standard bears but offer greater rewards. Alliance officers can summon Alliance Bears using special items.
Tips
- Target higher-level bears: The rewards scale significantly — always aim for the highest bear you can damage effectively.
- Coordinate with your alliance: Focus fire on the same bear to kill it faster and earn more points collectively.
- Spend energy wisely: Don't waste energy on bears that are nearly defeated by others if you can barely damage them.
- Check the event shop: Prioritize the most valuable items in the Bear Hunt shop before they sell out.
- Save energy for bonus periods: Some Bear Hunt events have bonus hours where rewards are multiplied.
