Jeronimo is a Legendary Infantry (Combat) hero in Whiteout Survival.
Lore
Jeronimo was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, heir to a local Duke of the old empire, and even after the old world's collapse he kept the noble style of dress, decorum and speech. Many dislike his demeanour, but none can deny he is an invaluable asset to the Dawn Alliance. He is an extremely capable swordfighter whose techniques embody the science and art of sword-fighting, so intricate that other soldiers could hardly learn them, and one of the Alliance's finest commanders, thanks to his education at the Imperial Military Academy.
Upper-class life left him expensive tastes that even an accomplished fighter could not maintain, and he ran up a huge debt. It drove him to serve as a "contract commander" under the Phaethon Mercenaries, and as their duel master and trainer. Those years saw various engagements against the Dawn Alliance, something Bahiti and others cannot easily come to terms with. Raised as a model of chivalry, he hated the underhanded techniques of Phaethon's leaders, and his departure was an inevitability.
Phaethon's revenge came quicker than his resignation. Outmanned against bandits and abandoned by his promised reinforcements, Jeronimo sent an urgent request for help to the Dawn Alliance instead, and persuading him to join them proved easy enough. Off the battlefield he fancies himself a poet, mostly of love poetry. Cloris' fighting prowess and supposed royal bloodline stirred something in his heart on their shared assignments, though she answered his advances by calling his love poems the worst of all the awkward things he says and does.
