Hervor is a Legendary Infantry (Combat) hero in Whiteout Survival.
Lore
Hervor is the Chieftain of Sathla, a ruthless kingdom among the icy peaks of the frigid far north. There are no Furnaces there and no Cities, only survival in deep winter caverns and strongholds, among a people who buried their weaker brethren in mountain tombs long before the Great Chill. Chieftainship is earned in every generation through a grueling series of arena duels, and Hervor's reign has left legends no living challenger remains to test: arms like tree trunks, battle cries that trigger avalanches, skin that survives steel.
Her predecessor, Hraesvelgr Kinslayer, ruled for half a century and was thought protected by the ancestors or the mountain gods, if not partly a demigod himself; his throne room was adorned with the heads of challengers. A witch's prophecy passed through the tribal council like a curse — that twins born under eternal night would one day feast upon the blood of a god — and when his wife delivered during a lunar eclipse, Hraesvelgr left the mountain to do the killing for him.
Cold and alone but for each other, the children survived, and their fate became a distant memory until the adult Hervor came to claim the throne before an astonished chiefsguard. The battle raged into the morning and ended with the breaking of Hraesvelgr's so-called wings and a new cry: Long live Chief Hervor. Now the most powerful queen in Sathla's history, and more cunning than her father, Hervor knows that even the strongest oak withers, and has gone abroad in search of a more enduring source of strength.
