Chief Charms are enhancement items in Whiteout Survival that attach to Chief Gear pieces and provide permanent bonuses to the player's troops. They are unlocked when the Furnace reaches Level 25. Because charms are tied to the Chief rather than to individual heroes, their bonuses apply to every march and garrison that includes the matching troop type.
Overview
Chief Charms boost Health and Lethality for the three troop types — Infantry, Lancer and Marksman. The charm type of each gear slot is fixed and cannot be changed by the player.
Charm slots
Each of the six Chief Gear pieces has three charm slots, for a total of 18 charms. The slots are grouped by the troop type they strengthen — two gear pieces (six charms) per troop type:

Upgrading
Charms are levelled using Charm Guide and Charm Design. From Level 12 onward, upgrades additionally require Charm Secrets. Once any charm reaches Level 11, a materials exchange unlocks, allowing conversion between Charm Design, Charm Guide and Charm Secrets.

The amounts below are the materials required to raise a single charm to each level. Charm Secrets are only needed at higher charm levels; multiply the totals by the number of charm slots for a full set.
