Rally
More actions
A Rally is a coordinated, multi-player attack in Whiteout Survival where an alliance leader initiates a combined march and alliance members contribute troops that all attack the target simultaneously. Rallies are far more powerful than individual attacks and are essential for defeating strong targets in events.
Overview
When a single player's march is insufficient to defeat a powerful target — such as a heavily fortified enemy city, a State Fortress during State vs State, or a high-level bear — a rally combines the attacking power of multiple alliance members. All participating troops arrive at the target together and fight as one combined force.
How to Start a Rally
Initiating
- Tap the target on the world map.
- Select "Rally" instead of "Attack."
- Set the rally timer (how long members have to join before the march launches).
- Your troops are committed as the rally leader's contribution.
Joining a Rally
- When an alliance member starts a rally, it appears in the alliance rally list.
- Tap "Join Rally" and select the troops you want to contribute.
- Your troops are held until the timer expires, then march together.
Launch
When the timer runs out (or the leader manually launches), all committed troops from all participants march simultaneously and arrive at the target at the same time.
Rally Capacity
The maximum number of troops a rally can contain is determined by:
- The rally leader's Command Center level
- Alliance Technology research that expands rally capacity
- VIP level bonuses (for the rally leader)
This means alliance leaders with highly upgraded cities can host larger, more powerful rallies.
Rally vs. Individual Attack
Rallies are preferred when:
- The target has far more troops than any one player can field
- Capturing key event objectives (State Fortresses, Alliance Fortresses)
- Concentrating force in State vs State to eliminate strong enemy players
- Defeating world bosses or high-level event targets
Individual attacks are better when:
- The target is weak enough for one march to handle
- Speed is more important than overwhelming force
- Scouting a target (scouts don't need rallies)
Tips
- Coordinate timing: Rallies are most effective when alliance members are online simultaneously — schedule them during active hours.
- The rally leader matters: A rally leader with a high-level Command Center can host more troops — choose your strongest player as leader.
- Don't commit troops you need for defense: If your city might be targeted simultaneously, keep some troops back for garrison defense.
- Watch the timer: If you join a rally, your troops are locked until it launches — don't join rallies if you need your troops elsewhere.
- Use rallies for objectives: In State vs State, rallying on the State Fortress is typically the highest-point action your alliance can take.
