Alliance
More actions
Alliances are groups of players who band together to share resources, provide mutual defense, and compete collectively in events. Joining an active alliance is one of the most important steps for any player in Whiteout Survival.
Alliances open up when your Furnace reaches level 7 — that is level 7 on the ordinary 1–30 scale, not a Fire Crystal tier. Until then, the alliance features stay locked.
Alliance Benefits
Members of an alliance gain access to:
- Alliance Aid — Request help to speed up building construction and research from alliance members
- Resource Donations — Members donate resources from their own stockpile to the Alliance Technology fund; what members give one another directly is help on timers, not resources
- Reinforcements — Alliance members can send troops to defend your city via the Embassy
- Alliance Technology — Collective research that benefits all alliance members
- Alliance Events — Participation in Bear Hunt, State vs. State, and other alliance activities
- Alliance Shop — Purchase exclusive items using Alliance Tokens
- Teleportation Benefits — Alliance members often teleport near each other for coordinated attacks
Alliance Structure
Ranks
| Rank | Name | Permissions |
|---|---|---|
| R5 | Leader | Full control — settings, promotions, diplomacy |
| R4 | Co-Leader | Most management rights; can represent the leader |
| R3 | Officer | Manage members, alliance activities, and some settings |
| R2 | Elite Member | Standard member with some added privileges |
| R1 | Member | Basic member; access to alliance benefits |
Alliance Leader
The R5 Leader has full authority over the alliance. They can:
- Promote and demote members
- Set alliance name, emblem, and settings
- Represent the alliance in diplomacy and relations with other alliances
- Lead the alliance in State vs. State
Alliance Technology
Alliances can research collective technologies that benefit all members:
- Construction Tech — Speeds up building for all members
- Research Tech — Speeds up research for all members
- Military Tech — Boosts troop stats for all members
- Economy Tech — Improves resource production for all members
Alliance tech is researched by members donating resources (Wood, Coal and Iron).
Territory
Alliances can control territory on the world map:
Capturing Territory
- Alliances claim ground by building an Alliance HQ, then placing Alliance Banners — each covers a 7×7 area that must touch the HQ or another banner, so territory grows step by step from the centre
- Territory provides resource bonuses and strategic positioning advantages
- Key territories include resource-rich areas and buff buildings
The Alliance HQ
There is no Alliance Fortress to build. The core of an alliance's territory is its HQ: first the Icefield HQ, later a Tundra HQ, and every banner must connect back to it. The Territory Teleporter lands beside the HQ — the Tundra one once it exists — and Crazy Joe sends waves 10 and 20 against it. The Fortresses of the map are something else: neutral structures that alliances fight over in Fortress Battles.
Facilities
Facilities are structures scattered across the world map, and an alliance takes them rather than builds them.
They sit around the Sunfire Castle, and an alliance can only attack one its territory already touches. Holding a Facility grants its bonus to every member; the whole system is set out on Facility.
Alliance Events
Bear Hunt
A cooperative event where alliance members attack a powerful boss on the world map. Members coordinate attacks to deal maximum damage within the time limit. Rewards scale with total damage dealt.
State vs. State (SvS)
The premier alliance competition event:
- Two states compete for a set period
- Alliances coordinate attacks on enemy cities and objectives
- Points earned from kills, building activity, and capturing objectives
- Winning state earns major rewards for all participating members
Alliance War
Alliances constantly contend with rivals on the world map — over territory, resource tiles and structures — and clash directly during State vs State. Conflict is driven by map control and event competition rather than a formal declaration system. Diplomacy between alliances is handled informally rather than through an in-game system: alliance leaders often negotiate Non-Aggression Pacts (NAPs) — mutual agreements not to attack one another. These pacts are especially common among the strongest alliances, reducing infighting and enabling cooperation during events such as State vs State.
Joining an Alliance
To join an alliance:
- Open the Alliance menu
- Search for an alliance by name or browse recommendations
- Apply to join or request an invitation
- Wait for an officer or leader to approve your application
Alliance Chat
Alliances have an exclusive chat channel for coordinating strategies, sharing tips, and building community. Use alliance chat to:
- Coordinate gathering marches
- Plan attacks and defenses
- Organize for Bear Hunt and SvS
- Share game knowledge
