Mithril is a rare end-game material in Whiteout Survival used to empower Legendary Hero Gear. It is a mysterious metal that imbues gear with extraordinary power, and becomes relevant once a hero's Mythic Hero Gear reaches level 100 (Mastery Level 10) and is converted into Legendary Hero Gear.
Acquisition
Mithril is not gathered or produced in the city — it is earned from a range of high-tier sources:
- The Arena Shop and the Craftsman Store
- Events such as King of Icefield, SVS Preparation and the Frostdragon Tyrant
- Special event stores, the Labyrinth Shop, and purchase packs
Uses
Mithril empowers Legendary Hero Gear at five milestone levels, alongside Mythic Hero Gear pieces. Each empowerment unlocks significant stat boosts and special bonuses:

Each piece must first be brought to one level below the milestone and to the mastery forging level shown; only then can the mithril be spent. Which of the two stats a milestone raises depends on the piece being upgraded. At level 100 the piece is done with mithril.
