Hero EXP is the resource used to level up Heroes in Whiteout Survival, raising their combat stats and unlocking skill upgrades at higher levels. It is distinct from Hero Shards, which raise a hero's star rating.

Notes
Hero EXP comes as items of increasing size (the larger the item, the more EXP it grants). A hero's maximum level is set by the Furnace level — the Furnace must reach level 26 before the level 80 cap opens.
The Drill Camp spares much of this cost: a hero placed in one of its drill slots rises on its own to the level of the five strongest heroes, without any Hero EXP of its own.

Hero EXP is granted by items of four sizes. They are interchangeable: only the total matters.

Level cap
A hero cannot be levelled past the cap set by your Furnace. The cap rises with every Furnace level from 10 onward, and level 80 opens at Furnace 26.

EXP per level
The cost of a level climbs steeply: reaching level 80 takes far more EXP than the first seventy levels together. The Total column gives the EXP spent since level 1.
