Heroes

Heroes are powerful characters in Whiteout Survival that provide unique skills and stat bonuses to your city, troops, and expeditions. Each hero has a specific rarity, class, and sub-class that defines their role and abilities.

Hero Rarities

Heroes come in four rarity tiers, from lowest to highest:

• Rare — Beginner-friendly heroes, easier to acquire and upgrade
• Epic — Mid-tier heroes with strong utility skills
• Legendary — High-power heroes with impactful passive and active abilities
• Mythic — The rarest and most powerful heroes in the game

Hero Classes

Heroes belong to one of three troop classes and one of two sub-classes:

Hero Shards

Heroes are unlocked and upgraded using Hero Shards:

• Collect shards specific to each hero through events, recruitment, and chests
• Unlock: Requires a set number of shards (varies by rarity)
• Star Upgrade: Additional shards raise a hero's star level (1★ to 5★)
• Higher star levels unlock more powerful skill tiers and the hero's Special Weapon

Hero Skills

Each hero has up to 8 skills:

• Exploration Skills (1-3) — Active combat abilities used in hero exploration battles
• Expedition Skills (4-6) — Passive troop bonuses active during expedition battles
• Special Weapon Skills (7-8) — Powerful bonuses unlocked by the hero's special weapon
