Wu Ming is a Legendary Infantry (Combat) hero in Whiteout Survival.
Lore
No one knows his real name, but every town has heard of his legend. Wu Ming is a wandering warrior whose martial skill approaches perfection and who uses it for the weak; with his Dragonslayer in hand he is a terror to the bandits of the Tundra. He lingers in poorer towns to teach survivors to defend themselves, echoing a saying from his distant homeland: teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime. Skilled in music and the arts and praised above all for his humility, he sometimes serves as a schoolteacher.
His earlier self was another man entirely, whose only aim was to be remembered as the "World's Number One Master". He studied under renowned masters and remained undefeated until he challenged an elderly stranger who had travelled the world and now lived in an ordinary town. Sword, spear and halberd all failed against that opponent's stick. Year after year he returned to challenge him and lost every time, unable to understand why victory eluded him when he had surpassed the man in strength, agility and skill.
During his last challenge, mechanised raiders called the Reapers attacked the town. Wu Ming turned to flee, but the old master waded in with his stick, subdued three Reapers and secured the town before his exhausted body gave out. Witnessing this, Wu Ming understood that righteous ideals and belief are the key to transcendence. He took up his late opponent's mantle and set out on a life of chivalry under the name Wu Ming, "The Nameless One".
