Eleanor is a Legendary Marksman (Combat) hero in Whiteout Survival.
Lore
Eleanor is a private detective from Oestermore who had dreamed since childhood of becoming her city's mastermind detective, pursuer of evildoers and upholder of truth and justice. Reality was less obliging: Oestermore was too peaceful to need private eyes, and her commissions ran to runaway cats stuck up trees, leaving her robo-dog Chieftain with nothing to chase.
That changed when a well-paid invitation asked her to investigate an urban legend about a monster living in Oestermore's sewers. She took the case for the money and hired the artisan Gisela as a consultant, who proved versed in every legend except anything touching "Jumping Jack". As the pair mapped the labyrinth of ancient sewers, the story grew from nightly noises into reports of people vanishing near sewer entrances. Underground, Eleanor turned to find a rifle muzzle at her eyes; Chieftain threw its jaws against the gunman's arm, buying the split second she needed for a martial arts head-kick. He talked only once Gisela produced a vibrating "Teeth Remover" and offered him the part of first test subject.
His confession exposed Phaethon, expelled from Oestermore years earlier and still hoping to reclaim the bastion of technology; with the city's defenses too strong for a direct attack, they were digging at its roots. The monster was a giant tunnelling machine, and the missing residents had been kidnapped to work on it. With no time to warn Oestermore's military, the two descended into the Phaethon base, where Eleanor distracted the guards while Gisela seized the digger and drove it through Phaethon's own facilities. The soldiers fled, the villagers were freed, and the ceremony honouring both women revived Eleanor's failing business.
