Lore
Romulus was a decorated general of the old Solaris Empire, trained at its Royal Academy. His fall came long before the Great Chill: as the nobility grew powerful on acquired land and titles, he found himself on the wrong side of it, and rumours linking him to seditious rebels were enough for the king to strip him of his rank in disgrace.

Affinity System
Affinity runs from level 1 to level 100. Level 1 already grants +2.10%, each further level adds 0.10% and every tenth level 0.90% instead, so level 100 lands exactly on the figures above. Taking it all the way costs about 940,000 affinity. The curve is the same for every Expert — see Experts.
