Heroes

Heroes are characters that provide bonuses to your city, troops, and expeditions in Whiteout Survival. Each hero has a rarity, a class, a sub-class, and two sets of stats: Exploration (used in the story/dungeon mode) and Expedition (used in alliance vs. combat modes).

Hero Attributes

Rarity

Heroes come in two rarities:

• Rare — Base heroes available from the start. Easier to obtain and upgrade.
• Epic — More powerful heroes, typically released seasonally (S1, S2, etc.). Require more shards to upgrade.

Class

Each hero belongs to one of three military classes, which determines which troop type they buff:

• Infantry — Boosts Infantry troops.
• Lancer — Boosts Lancer troops.
• Marksman — Boosts Marksman troops.

Sub-Class

Each hero also has a sub-class that defines their secondary role:

• Growth — Boosts city development and resource production.
• Combat — Boosts combat stats.
• Support — Provides healing or defensive bonuses.

Stars & Tiers

Heroes are upgraded through stars (1★ to 5★) and tiers (Tier 1 to Tier 5). Each combination requires a specific number of hero shards.
