Fire Crystals are a rare late-game currency in Whiteout Survival and the foundation of progression beyond Furnace level 30.
Acquisition
- Crystal Laboratory — daily exchange of Meat, Wood, Coal and Iron for Fire Crystals, 5 to 8 times a day depending on your state's Fire Crystal level
- Events — State vs State (SVS) shop and battle phase, King of Icefield, Alliance Mobilization, Mercenary Prestige, Flame and Fangs
- Daily missions and Lighthouse intel
Uses
- Upgrading the Furnace and Fire Crystal building variants beyond level 30
- War Academy research, via Fire Crystal Shards
- Training the Helios (T11) and Exalted (T12) troops
- Conversion to Shards: 10 Fire Crystals = 13 Shards (up to 200 Fire Crystals per day); Steel also converts (5,000 = 1 Shard, 20 per day)
How many it takes
Fire Crystals are counted in the thousands, not the hundreds. Taking the Furnace alone from level 30 to FC10 — the fifty upgrades described on Fire Crystal Age — costs 11,610 Fire Crystals and 870 Refined Fire Crystals. Every other Fire Crystal building carries its own separate bill on top of that.
