Tundra Trade Route
More actions
Tundra Trade Route is a recurring PvP event in Whiteout Survival in which players dispatch and escort their own trade trucks across the Tundra while raiding rival convoys. It runs alongside the Alliance Showdown event.
Format
The event has four phases — Preview, Trade Phase 1, Trade Phase 2 and Display — over about six days, with day 7 open until 04:00 UTC to collect day 6's loot. Each day a player can send up to four trucks, with a maximum of two active at once; a trip lasts roughly three to three and a half hours. Trucks come in rarities (Common, Rare, Epic and Mythic). To escort a truck the player selects up to three heroes; the accompanying troops are assigned automatically at the highest training level reached.
Trucks and raiding
Trucks are refreshed with Truck Vouchers, earned in Alliance Showdown, or with Gems once the vouchers run out: 100 gems for the first refresh, then 200, 300, 400, and 500 for the fifth and the sixth. A Mythic truck is guaranteed from the sixth refresh onwards. Players may raid up to four times a day; failed attempts do not count. A target can be successfully raided at most twice, with a 10-minute cooldown before re-attacking, and a successful raid takes up to 50% of the target's rewards. Once per day a player can request help from an alliance member and protect allies' trucks (up to three per day).
Sending a truck
A trip takes about three and a half hours, so a truck sent late in the day is collected the next one. The daily allowance is counted from when a truck is sent, not when it is collected, so a delivery picked up the following morning costs nothing against that day's four attempts; trucks left unsent roll over as well.
The troops assigned to a truck defend it against raiders, and their stats follow the player in real time: changing gear, upgrading a hero or activating a pet while the convoy is on the road changes what the escort is worth. A successful raid strips up to 50% of the load, the items removed being drawn at random from what the truck carries — they show up crossed out on the manifest.
Help can be requested from the alliance once a day. Lending troops to an ally works the other way round and costs nothing: the heroes lent stay available for one's own trucks and for ordinary play. A player guards one ally's truck at a time and up to three a day, earning a small reward according to how well the guard held.
Reading the raid screen
- One flame on a truck — it has been raided once and can still be looted one more time.
- Two flames — it has been raided twice and can no longer be attacked.
- A red figure with crossed swords — that player recently attacked one of your trucks, or one you were guarding.
- Letters on the truck — it belongs to the alliance you are facing in Alliance Showdown, and a successful raid on it also cuts the points that alliance earns there.
Targets can be refreshed for free, and trucks roaming the world map can be shared through a message or in alliance chat and raided by whoever finds them first. The four rarities are colour-coded, from grey for the lowest through blue and purple to orange for the highest.
Rewards
Deliveries award Speedups, pet materials, charm materials, Gems, hero shards, essence stones, gear materials and resources, along with Alliance Showdown points. Alliance Showdown participation in turn grants the Truck Vouchers used to refresh trucks.
