Armament Competition is a personal preparation event in Whiteout Survival in which players earn points for growth activities -- upgrading gear, using materials and completing research -- to reach milestones and climb a leaderboard. Each event lasts two days, and two variants of it rotate every two weeks.

How it works

Players score points by performing eligible development actions, such as enhancing equipment, using upgrade materials and shards, completing research, and spending Speedups and Fire Crystals. The exact tasks, point values and rewards vary with the event version, the player's Furnace level, the state's age and available progression systems.

Milestones and ranking

Point Progress Rewards are granted for reaching point thresholds -- the first milestone is 580 points and the final one is 17,000 points, across four milestones in total. At the end of the event, Ranking Rewards are issued based on each player's point ranking, and the top 100 scorers receive exclusive leaderboard rewards.

The milestones pay in kind, and the chests grow through the table: 20 chests of 10,000 Meat and as many of Wood at the first, 200 of each at the third. The second pays Hero EXP and 5-minute speedups, the third adds 3,500 gems, and the fourth 15 Fire Crystals, iron and two further materials.

What each action is worth

The point values are far apart. Using a Mithril pays 28,800 points, a widget of hero exclusive gear 1,600, a Refined Fire Crystal spent on a building 1,500, a plain Fire Crystal on a building 100, a Fire Crystal Shard on research 50, and raising the maximum chief gear score by one, 3. A minute of speedup is worth 1 point.

Using an Essence Stone — the material that raises Mythic hero gear mastery — is worth 800 points.

The two variants share the same scale: one is built around chief gear, the other around chief charms. The event replaces City Development once the state unlocks Fire Crystals, and several of the same actions are also scored by Officer Project, on a larger scale.

Ranking brackets

Ranking Rewards are cut into eight brackets, paid mainly in gems: 50,000 for first place, 30,000 for second, 18,000 for third, then 10,800 for ranks 4 to 5, 6,500 for 6 to 10, 3,800 for 11 to 20, 1,900 for 21 to 50 and 1,000 for 51 to 100. Speedups follow the same slope, dropping from twenty 1h speedups at the top to twenty-five 5m speedups at the bottom of the table.

Rewards

Rewards include chief charm materials, upgrade materials, Fire Crystals, Gems, skill manuals, recruitment keys, Speedups and resources.
