Brothers in Arms
More actions
Brothers in Arms (BIA), also called Kill Event (KE), is a 2-day event occurring on Friday and Saturday every 4 weeks. Players earn points by injuring or killing troops of players in the same state. Once Sunfire Castle is unlocked, it will happen at the same time.
This event can be divisive — some players enjoy the war aspect, while others find it harmful to the state's smaller players.
Event Rules
Alliance leaders should negotiate rules before the event. Common considerations:
- Tiles hitting (farming): Allowing hits on gathering troops. If permitted, it can slow down development for smaller players.
- City attacks: If allowed, common conditions include: maximum 2 hits per city, no attacking a burning city, only attacking cities within 3 Furnace levels of the attacker.
- Alternating days: Day 1 tiles hitting only, Day 2 city attacks with rules.
Sunfire Castle Overlap
Once Sunfire Castle is unlocked, players can earn points on Saturday on both Brothers in Arms and Sunfire Castle simultaneously. Some states choose to cancel or limit BIA as a result.
Consider arranged battles — either during BIA, or on facilities and fortresses — as an alternative to uncontrolled attacks.
