The Arena is a building in Whiteout Survival for PvP combat between Chiefs. It unlocks when the Furnace reaches Level 8. Players bring their strongest Heroes to climb a weekly seasonal ladder and earn rewards.
How it works
In the Arena you challenge other Chiefs' hero line-ups to earn Arena points. Points are only gained from challenges you initiate — you do not lose points when another Chief challenges you, and defending never changes your points. Climbing the points ladder raises your rank.
A Chief has 5 free challenges a day, and 5 more can be bought with Gems. Beating an opponent whose points equal or exceed your own is worth more than beating one below you. Rank rewards are worked out at 00:00 server time.
Rewards
Winning challenges awards Arena Tokens, which are spent in the Arena Shop. The Arena also grants daily and weekly rewards based on your rank, and its seasons reset every week.
Heroes alone
Arena battles are fought by heroes with no troops behind them: the line-up's own statistics and skills decide the match, as in the Exploration chapters. What wins elsewhere — camps, research, troop tiers — counts for nothing here.
The Expert who lives here
Holger, titled Arena Legend, is the Expert built for this mode. At full skill he adds 20% Attack and Health to Arena heroes, raises both daily and weekly Arena Tokens by 50%, and puts three more items in the Arena Shop at half price.
The Arena Shop is one of the two places that sell Mithril, the material for Legendary Hero Gear; the other is the Craftsman Store.
