The Coal Mine is the third production building unlocked in Whiteout Survival, producing Coal — the primary fuel resource for heating and industrial operations.
Overview
The Coal Mine extracts coal from deposits beneath the frozen ground. Coal is one of the four core resources and is consumed by almost every major construction, research, and training operation. It is particularly important for Furnace operation and late-game progression.
The Coal Mine can be upgraded up to level 30, with each level requiring the Furnace to be at the same level.

- Continuously produces Coal over time
- Production rate increases with each upgrade level
- Charlie (Rare Lancer) boosts Coal Mine output through his expedition skills
- Economy Research (Coal Output / Coal Mining tree) provides passive production bonuses
