The Sawmill is the first production building unlocked in Whiteout Survival, producing Wood — a critical resource for construction and city development.
Overview
The Sawmill is where your workers process timber from the surrounding forests into usable lumber. As one of the earliest buildings in the game, it is fundamental to city growth — almost every building upgrade requires Wood. The Sawmill can be upgraded up to level 30, with each level requiring the Furnace to be at the same level.
Production
- The Sawmill continuously produces Wood over time
- Production rate increases with each upgrade level
- Multiple Sawmills can be built to increase total Wood output
- Eugene (Rare Infantry) boosts Sawmill output through his expedition skills
- Economy Research (Wood Output tree) further increases Sawmill production
