The Hero Hall is a building in Whiteout Survival where new Heroes are recruited using recruitment keys. It unlocks when the Furnace reaches Level 4. It is one of the earliest buildings a Chief unlocks and stays the main way to obtain new heroes throughout the game.
Recruitment
The Hero Hall offers two kinds of recruitment, each using its own key:
- Advanced Recruitment — uses Platinum keys to open Advanced recruitment chests.
- Epic Recruitment — uses Gold keys to open Epic recruitment chests.
Recruitment chests can award Heroes, Hero Shards, Exploration and Expedition Manuals, Hero XP, and a variety of Speedups and resources.
Advanced Recruitment draws from a pool of Rare and Epic heroes and their fragments, while Epic Recruitment can also yield Mythic heroes and their shards — which makes Gold Keys the rarer and more sought-after of the two.
Recruitment keys
Platinum Keys and Gold Keys are earned from events, daily and alliance activities, and in-game shops. Because keys are limited, recruitment events such as Vision of Dawn — which set tasks for spending Platinum and Gold Keys in the Hero Hall — are common occasions to use them.
